I need to adjust my temperature control all the time

Because I grew up with such little indoor comfort, I suppose I’ve become a bit obsessed with it as an adult

I’ve been listening to all kinds of motivational audiobooks in my free time recently. For the past decade or so, I have been completely immersed with self-improvement as well as adjusting my mindset for a better life. I believe it sounds crazy, but I suppose that it genuinely helps to listen to inspirational words throughout the hard days of work! A lot of the time, these recordings discuss a mindset of “lacking.” This is their term for growing up in a household environment without luxuries. It would seem that it causes long-term fluctuations in your brain that often lead to negative neural fluctuations. I’ve realized, I absolutely have a mindset of lacking when it comes down to indoor air temperature control. When I actually stop as well as consider everything, my childhood was defined by full on lack of indoor air temperature comfort. When I was coming up, we lived on a tight budget. My mother never wanted to spend money for our energy bills as well as she needed to. As such, she was actually obsessed with keeping the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C equipment turned down literally as low as she possibly could. In the middle of the cold season, we had to wear coats often to stay warm in the property without using the oil furnace. In the warm season, we laid beneath fans because the A/C equipment wasn’t ever running. As an adult, I am totally obsessed with using my indoor air temperature control appliances. I do not go more than four minutes without making adjustments to my temperature control. If I am even slightly warm or cold, I am going to utilize my heating as well as cooling equipment as much as I feel like. Because I grew up with such little indoor comfort, I suppose I’ve become a bit obsessed with it as an adult. I suppose I have my mother to thank for that.
